Foundation Building Materials (FBM) Management, Sales and Marketing Staff gathered in the Houston, Texas area for 3 days of focused educational training sessions on specialty building products and mechanical insulation offerings. This is the second year we have held FBM University. The first day was marked by key presentations on overall business strategy and sales direction with a fun team building event ending the day. The second day consisted of a range of training sessions from select vendor partners aimed at educating the FBM Sales Team with new and updated product information. Participating training session vendors included: Armstrong, USG Ceilings, Sto, Specialty Products & Insulation (SPI). Crane Composites, Rectorseal, Roxul, Specified Technologies, Inc., Ramset, Dryvit, Unifrax and others. At the end of the second day, FBM held a highly successful tradeshow event where 50 vendor partners dedicated time, in an exhibit hall style setting, to train and introduce the FBM Sales Teams to new products and sales opportunities. The third day was led by an industry leading sales trainer, Mitch Harper who coached our sales team about Being the Best by delivering exceptional value to our customers.
