Ruben Mendoza, President and CEO, along with many of the Foundation Building Materials (FBM) Leaders gathered in New York City on February 10, 2017 for the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of FBM Stock. Both John Gorey, Chief Financial Officer and Tom Fischbeck, Pacific Region Vice President, two of the three founding members of the Company (the third being Ruben) were also present. It was an exciting day of reflection on all of the hard work required to get to the IPO and also of anticipation as FBM moves into the future as a publicly traded company. The capstone of the day was when Ruben rang the NYSE Opening Bell accompanied by the President of the NYSE, Tom Farley and 13 members of the FBM Senior Leadership Team.
